Newcomers/Longtimers 2011 Membership Tea – Pretty in Pink

Newcomers/Longtimers kicked off its 2011-12 year with its annual
Membership Tea on Thursday, September 15 at the Country Club Hotel.
This year’s tea theme “Pretty in Pink” was reflective of the pink outfits
worn by many of the women.   Beautiful and unique jewelry and jewelry
boxes, belonging to some of the members, served as the table
centerpieces.

Newcomers/Longtimers is a network of over 200 women from the lake
area that has been in existence since 1965.  Its purpose is to promote
and cultivate social relationships and community awareness.    Activities
which are planned from October through May include Card and Games,
Dining Out, Luncheon meetings, and various special activities such as
shopping and plays.  See www.newcomerslongtimers.com for calendar of
events and additional information.
