Tea Invitation Annual Newcomers/Longtimers Annual Membership Tea - Feel free to bring guests. Homemade refreshments, tea and coffee will be served. Location: Country Club Hotel (Horseshoe Bend to Carol Road) Date and Time: Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M. Open House format, just drop in anytime. No reservations required. No charge. Theme: Pretty in Pink. This is a wonderful time to bring out your favorite hat. Other Details: The Newcomers/Longtimers Club is beginning its’ 47th year. Its membership consists of ladies from the lake area (both part-time and full-time residents). The purpose of the Club is to promote and cultivate social relationships and community awareness. Monthly luncheon meetings are held in various locations on the 3rd Thursday of each month from October through May each year. Cards and Games are played on the 1st Thursday each month. A variety of interest groups within the club such as book clubs, antique group, dining out, etc. Also, gather for activities monthly or periodically. In addition, Special Events such as bus trips to Branson or other areas are often held. We also hold a fund raiser in May each year to support charities and organizations in the lake area – our Annual Home Tour.
