The Allen Home, one of six homes featured on this year's
Newcomers/Longtimers Home Tour

Built in 2005, the Mediterranean style home of Lee and Tracy Allen is one of six homes on the Newcomers/Longtimers Fourteenth Annual Home Tour. Lee is a St. Louis native and Tracy is originally from Ft. Worth, Texas. They love the water and boating and have been coming to the lake for years.

The main level of this 7500 sq. ft. home is open, spacious, and designed for entertaining, with large windows to enjoy views of the main channel. It is furnished with family collectables including a 17th century Chinese gong, a large German beer stand and an intricately carved nine foot armoire in the guest suite. The master suite features a huge walk in closet with unique "locker-room" cabinetry and bath area with beverage bar, refrigerator, freezer drawers and microwave. Additional beautiful custom cabinets throughout the home are a testament to one of Lee's businesses, Beck Allen Cabinetry.

A wrought iron T-shaped staircase leads to the lower level featuring a 10 seat bar with a flat screen T.V. hidden behind a 2-way mirror and a 1950's, regulation length shuffleboard table. The expansive outdoor living space includes a pool, spa, bright red seats from the original Busch Stadium and a gazebo covering a horseshoe-shaped bar. Flat screen TV's are built in above fireplaces on both decks to complete this entertaining area.

This year's Home Tour will be Saturday May 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Advance tickets are available for $20 at many ticket outlets or call Terry at 302-4527 or Lana at 365-2959. The day of the Tour, tickets may be purchased for $25 at Tour Headquarters, Village Station, on Highway MM, in Sunrise Beach. All proceeds benefit local charities and the Newcomers/Longtimers Scholarship Fund. For additional information, visit our website at: www.newcomerslongtimers.com.
